Global Women Leaders Fellowship
서울대학교 여교수회는 글로벌 여성 인재 양성을 위해 서울대학교 대학원 석사·박사과정에 재학 중인 외국 국적 여성 대학원생과 육아와 학업을 병행하는 여성 대학원생에게 글로벌여성리더십장학금을 지급하고 있습니다.
The SNU Women Faculty Council provides the Global Women Leaders Fellowship to female master’s and doctoral students at Seoul National University who are of foreign nationality or balancing graduate studies with childcare responsibilities.

서울대학교 석사 또는 박사과정에 재학 중인 여성 대학원생을 대상으로 합니다.
Applicants must be female students enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program at Seoul National University.

A total of 16 recipients will be selected. The number selected from each category will be determined based on the applicant pool and the selection committee’s review.

기본 자격 General Requirements
서울대학교 석사 또는 박사과정에 재학 중이며, 직전 학기 성적이 3.0 / 4.3 이상인 여성 대학원생
Female students currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program at Seoul National University with a GPA of 3.0 or higher out of 4.3 in the previous semester.
TYPE 1
외국 국적 여성 대학원생 Female Graduate Students of Foreign Nationality
서울대학교 대학원 석사·박사과정에 재학 중인 외국 국적의 여성 대학원생
Female international students enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program at Seoul National University.
TYPE 2
육아와 학업을 병행하는 여성 대학원생 Female Graduate Students Balancing Childcare and Studies
초등학생 이하 자녀를 양육하며 서울대학교 대학원 학업을 병행하고 있는 여성 대학원생
Female graduate students raising children of elementary-school age or younger while pursuing their studies at Seoul National University.
유형별 선발 인원 Allocation by Category
2026년도에는 총 16명을 선발합니다. 유형 1과 유형 2의 구체적인 선발 인원은 별도로 정하지 않으며, 유형별 지원 현황과 선정위원회의 심사 결과에 따라 결정됩니다.
A total of 16 recipients will be selected in 2026. No fixed number of places has been assigned to Type 1 or Type 2. The final allocation will be determined based on the applicant pool and the selection committee’s review.

장학생 선정위원회 종합 심사
장학생은 성적만으로 선발하지 않습니다. 지원서, 학업 및 연구 활동, 성장 가능성, 사회와 공동체에 대한 기여 가능성 등을 종합적으로 검토합니다.
Recipients are not selected solely based on GPA. The committee conducts a comprehensive review of the application, academic and research activities, potential for growth, and potential contribution to society and the community.

Q 신입생도 신청할 수 있나요? Can first-year students apply?
신청할 수 있습니다. 신입생은 이전 학교 또는 이전 과정의 마지막 학기 성적증명서를 제출해 주세요.
Yes. First-year students may apply by submitting a transcript from the final semester of their previous school or program.
Q 수료생도 신청할 수 있나요? Can students who have completed their coursework apply?
수료생은 과정 재학생으로 볼 수 없으므로 신청할 수 없습니다. 다만 이수학점을 모두 채우지 못해 초과학기에 등록한 경우에는 신청할 수 있습니다.
Students who have completed their coursework and are no longer enrolled as regular students are not eligible. However, students enrolled for an additional semester to complete required credits may apply.
Q 등록금 지원 장학금과 중복 수혜가 가능한가요? Can I receive this fellowship together with a tuition scholarship?
중복 수혜가 가능합니다. 다만 기존 장학금 지급기관의 중복 수혜 기준은 별도로 확인하시기 바랍니다.
Yes. Applicants are advised to verify the relevant regulations with their existing scholarship provider.
Q 지도교수를 아직 정하지 못한 경우 추천서는 어떻게 받나요? Whom should I ask for a recommendation if I do not have an academic advisor yet?
지도교수가 정해지지 않은 경우에도 본인의 소속 학과 교수에게 추천서를 요청할 수 있습니다. 다른 학교 또는 다른 학과 교수의 추천서는 인정되지 않습니다.
You may request a recommendation from a professor in your department even if an academic advisor has not yet been assigned. Recommendations from professors at another university or in another department will not be accepted.

장학생은 성적만으로 선발하지 않습니다. 지원서와 학업 및 연구 활동, 성장 가능성, 사회와 공동체에 대한 기여 가능성 등을 종합적으로 검토합니다.
